Who We Are

The Leisure World Friends of India Association started in September 2018 with an aim to advance and foster a sense of unity and belonging in the Indian community; promote Indian culture (music, art, dance, language etc.) and educate those interested about India's history, geography, social sciences, and current events, through a variety of programs, workshops, and lectures.

You do not have to be of Indian origin to join FIA. Please support us by becoming a member, joining the FIA Board, attending the weekly meetings.

In addition, we are in need of volunteers. Let us know your special interests / hobbies / talents, etc. Share ideas you have for FIA? Things you would consider leading? Present a lecture, talk, performance, workshop? Or connect us with others who might be interested in sharing their expertise with us.

Join us on Thursday evenings in Clubhouse 2, Multipurpose Room, from 4 to 7 PM to meet others from the community, for conversation, games, or scheduled events.

Annual Membership Dues-$10.00
